The A2 CofC is a remote pilot competency certificate primarily intended to assure safe operations of drones close to uninvolved persons.
The GVC (General Visual Line of Sight Certificate) is the new CAA commercial standard in drone training allowing you to operate drones <25Kg commercially in the Specific Category of legislation.

Practical Flight Assessment (GVC)
Includes 1 flight assessment (multirotor).
The Practical Flight Assessment for this course will be located in Somerset.
Self-Declaration of flight competence (A2 CofC)
Before we issue you an A2 CofC certificate, the CAA requires you make a declaration you are competent to fly in the Open Category of current UAS Legislation. For this, you need to ensure you are practised in the type of operations you will be using the A2 CofC for.
